Hello!
I'm new to cakes and my brother and his wife to be are trusting me to make their wedding cake next year!
Their doing a white and royal blue theme and I'd really like to make a simple looking white cake with a royal blue sponge hiding inside! Seen as it's so far away, I'd like to get practicing so I can get it perfect for their special day!
Whenever I've tried making a coloured sponge, the mixture looks really vibrant and then as the cake bakes it seems to fade and the colours look pretty disappointing!
What I'd like to know is.. what type of colouring or which brand is best for colouring sponge and how much colouring is required and any other tips and tricks would be greatly appreciated!
xx
