It was a new one on the site and I tried to click it to save to favorites and it wouldn't do anything so after waiting and waiting I decided to try again and now it ahs registered it as a "unfavorite" How do I get it to save as a favorite or is that not possible. I had that happen on a cake picture I wanted to save also one time and it is very frustrating
I haven't been able to use the "favorites" for a few months now. And all the recipes I saved have disappeared. So I have starting saving recipes "off" of the CC site. It has been an issue for a while now for several people. 
I usually just click on it again, and it becomes a favorite.
Well you are one of the "lucky" ones then! I've clicked add favorite till my finger turns blue and NOTHING!! My favorite recipes is EMPTY. So now I just save anything I like as a Word Document away from CC. There are just too many bugs on this site that aren't fixed and probably won't be .
Having said that...I still love coming here because I have learned so much and the people are great that I've "met". I just hate that it's such a challenge navigating from section to section on here...it can be very frustrating! Hopefully one day all will be well in Cake Central land! 
You know, they're working on a new format for the site. Hopefully things will get better soon.
I really hope you are right because I love this site. But in all the years I've been coming here, I've never experienced the frustration I have in just the last few months. Even logging on takes several attempts. Posting anything is the same whether it be photos or in the forums. I've become famous for double and triple replies because of error messages I received, so I posted again. 
I am definitely a skeptic, but I really do hope everything is eventually fixed so that coming on CC is again a pleasure instead of a chore. I have so much more to learn and this is definitely the place to come to with all the talented people that are so generous with their time and advice. 
When I first joined this site only a few months ago I had no problems, until about a month later I had to download a different browser because I was unable to open CC with internet explorer. The only way I was able to open the site was from a shared pic on their facebook page. Finally after a couple of days not being able to log in freely, I contacted support they told me it was on my end. So I downloaded Firefox, I've had no problems since then.
When I was using IE I also had some issues with saving recipes to favorites, but with firefox I don't have those issues.
I love this site, and I've learned so much in the short few months I've been here. I thank everyone of you cakers for everything you've taught me!
