Airbrush Machine

I am looking into purchasing an airbrush machine. I am hoping not to spend too much money, but also would like something reliable. Does anyone have any suggestions for me? Thanks so much!

I don't know what your budget is but think quality. Get the best you can with the amount you can spend. I bought mine years ago from Magic Line, (Not their brand) I spent $135.00 for the kit. I know it is higher now. I don't use it too often but it has lasted for all this time with upkeep.

I am also planning to buy an airbrush, but am unsure of exactly what I need to look for when shopping. Any help you could offer would be greatly appreciated?

In the Baking and Pastry Arts program I am attending they used a Kopy Kake airbrush machine. I really liked the machine so much I bought one and have been very happy with my decision. Here's the link for additional information.

There are 2 methods. The most popular is the one that use a small compressor to push air up a hose and push the paint out of the gun, There is a little cup that sits at the top and the air feeds it thru. The other has a small bottle attached to the bottom of the gun.

Mine is the first type, I tried using the other but was rather clumsy.

Check on the link from TaraLynRRT and you will see. For persons starting you do not need the heavy duty compressor. That size is for persons or businesses who will use it quite often such as a bakery with daily work.
