I have a big weekend of cakes, and my son was sick so getting a late start on cakes and very little sleep all week. I know I am tired, but it has to get done. I needed to bake tonight so I can decorate tomorrow. cakes ( one three tier ) and one pull apart cup cake flower bouquet ( 3 flowers made of cupcakes ). *** so here I am cake 1... I use box cake mix and had two cake mixes, I had a measure cup of 2 cups and needed 2 1/2 cup water.... I put the 2 cups in and TOTALLY FORGOT to put the other 1/2 cup water. ...is this going to taste like cornbread? ugh.. should I rebake, it looks good, it did rise, .. then on top of that 2nd cake good, third top tier, and the smash cake in oven, waiting for them to be done, and I open the oven door and they look unbaked, then I realize I had turned the oven off, to put my son to bed, and forgot to turn it back on to heat up. UGH, this is going to be a very long couple tof days . I am going ahead and baking them but will it be ok?
any one else out there ever do this ? going for the caffiene, please let me know what you think ( BESIDES ...I need to go to sleep ..
