Hi! There are these 2 classes I'd like to attend between sept and oct. but they are both really expensive... one is on gumpaste flowers, the other one on modelling, in particular about comic japanese characters.
Which one do you think is going to be more usefull for a business, in ur opinion?

They are both so different.
If your motivation is to become more commercial ( selling elegant wedding cakes for example) then attend the flower class.
However, if you are looking to become a more unique and special order baker...go for the character class.
It's up to what are your goals that will justify the expense.

thank you for all your answers!
those classes are pretty expensive, about 300$ each one, so I have to pick just one up.. I think I'm going to chooce the modelling class, it could be interesting and could bring me to make the caricatures of the customers too at some point!

It depends on what you want to specialize in. If you want to go mainstream go with the flowers. But Anime is huge right now and not many doing it. (My daughter is a huge anime fan so I'm probably more exposed to it than most.) If you go that route you could have a great niche but it's still limited. Just my opinion.

Having taken both types of classes, I'd go modeling. There are thousands of free tutorials on how to make flowers, but sculpting is much harder to learn and it's much better hands-on.
