Cost of making sugar bottles

I was preparing to make one of those beer bottle cakes and I just looked up the mold needed to make the sugar bottles. It costs about $80 for the kit. Is that the only way that people make the bottles? It seems like a huge expense to make a few bottles.

Is there any other websites that offer the kit? I was looking on Make Your Own Molds.com.

I made a beer bottle cake (see my photos) in June and was very successful in making my own molds. I followed the instructions from a video on youtube. I found it by putting "sugar beer bottles" in the subject line.

You can make your own molds...I know they (CC) discourage members from refering you to make your own, but hey I'm a hobby baker and I don't want to spend so much $$ on something I'm only gonna use once.
I made my own molds with 'Mold Builder' latex I purchased at Michales with a 40% coupon. There's a thread here on how to make the molds and the sugar bottles.
Btw, I've only use my molds once so far...
