Pricing a Strawberry Shortcake

Thread Starter
How would you price a strawberry shortcake? I think pricing it the same as my regular cakes is too much since it requires far lass time and no decoration.
It's for a friend and will be a 10" round with berries, homemade whipped creme, repeat.
Thanks!

Price it as you would any other product...add up your cost (ingredients, labor, and overhead) then add your normal profit margin.

Same as Jason. I have tons of different products on my menu and all are priced by the same method.
