Hello, I need a crusting icing recipe that is good to teach classes with, my current recipe uses high ratio shortening and I dont want to teach with that because I know my students will not purchase that just for home use. I want to teach them to make something they can do at home? any suggestions??

I use Indydebi's recipe for my community ed. classes. It uses Crisco.

Even Wilton's class b'cream would be o.k if the flavoring is increased - at least dbl or even triple.
