Let's share our favorite way to roll fondant and transfer it to the cake
I roll it between two vinyl sheets thats really helps me when transferring it to the cake and give me a chance to adjust its position without stretching
What's yours? The Matt? A rolling pin??? Your hands??

If the cake is 12" or smaller I roll out and transfer with a rolling pin. For over 12", I use The Mat.

On a single sheet of The Mat (foodsafe & held to the counter with water) smeared with a dab of crisco. I pick the piece up on my long Wilton rolling pin.

Use the rolling pin to roll fondant around then slowly and very carefully unroll it on cake starting from one edge.
I am eager to buy myself a professional sheeter.... but....
It's soooo expensive! icon_cry.gif
