I'm making a ricotta cheese yellow cake for my Mother-in-law's birthday. I've made this cake before and it's delicious, but never as a decorated cake. My question is, what flavor of frosting would be best paired with this cake? My first though was cream cheese, but then I thought maybe too many cheese flavors going on there. Just a plain vanilla? Something fruity flavored? Suggestions, please!
