i know that your supposed to mix vanilla extract with luster dust so you can paint. but i cant use vanilla extract because it has alcohol, is there something else i can mix with luster dust to help me paint. thanks

You do not have to use extract or alcohol. You can use water. The reason for the extract ot alcohol is the speed in which thay dry. It makes a huge difference. But if that's a problem, just use water.

Here are two videos using two different methods.

One is with cocoa butter -

This one is using a stencil however if you see the end effect it does look good and I'm sure you can use this technique to paint too.

I like the more opaque effect the cocoa butter and luster dust gives. I wonder if coconut oil would react the same. Or even Crisco? There may be some experimenting in my future!

If I am ever on life support, unplug me...

Then plug me back in.  See if that works!
