Tint some white chocolate or white candy melts the same color as your bow and use that as glue.

It depends on how heavy or large your fondant bow is. Water sticks fondant to fondant perfectly, but you only need very little or the bow will just slide around. You want to be making the point where the two fondant parts touch tacky...you can paint a drop or water on and wipe the excess off with your finger, wait till it gets tacky then attach the bow. I would probably also use a toothpick halfway in the bow knot and halfway in the cake for good measure too if the bow is large. Alternatively melted white chocolate works well for heavy items but you will need to apply it and hold the bow in place until the chocolate solidifies again, or use instant freeze spray.

The white chocolate idea is probably your best optiion.
And......as was said, a light coating of water does greaticon_smile.gif
Next would be to mix fondant in water - just enough to soften it to a mud consistency and brush that on.

Chocolate works best when gluing two dried pieces together or when you need more holding power than water alone.

It is true, if you don't have instant freeze spray, you'll have to hold your bow on until the chocolate solidifies, but you can make it easier by allowing your melted chocolate to cool down to a thicker consistency so it dries faster. You can also prop a piece of foam sponge under the bow or insert a few straight pins in the cake directly beneath your bow to hold it on until you're sure it's secure.
