Seeking advice on fondant brands

Hi all! I have been using Satin Ice for awhile. The first time I ordered, it was amazing! It tasted like MMF. Then when I reordered, I got the buttercream, which wasn't AS good, but it was delicious. Recently, I accidently ordered the vanilla in Red, black, and white...It was AWFUL! It tasted AND smelled like playdoh! I was wondering what everyone else uses with not only a great flavor, but easy to work with and holds up well.

I changed to Fondx brand from Cal Java for the same reason. It may have been about a year ago now I tired Cal Java's new fondant called Nu-Wrap in buttercream flavor and I haven't looked back. Call and see if they will send you a sample or buy a small amount to try. I wasn't as fond of their elite brand because it tastes like rasberry and I am not a big rasberry fan. To me I feel all of Cal Java's fondant roll out nicer than SI.
