I am making a two tier cake. the cake is white, with light pink, hot pink, peach and black stripes, dots and little balls around the cake. I want to give the cake a shine. if i was to spray the cake with clear lustre spray, will it effect the black stripes.? Do i have to spray the cake before placing the accents. Any help would be appreciated. I also have some lustre dust with me. i hear of people mixing it with vodka and applying it. do you just take a teaspoon full of lustre dust and a tspoon full of vodka mix it together and brush it on the cake? Please help.
