Does anyone have any tips for a motorcycle windshield made out of gelatin? I'm making a motorcycle so the windshield isn't going to be encased in a frame of sorts. I am going to try using wire along the 2 side edges to hold it up.

Any tips on making my own windshield out of gelatin?

Make a solution of one part unflavored gelatin to two parts water. Let it hydrate, then melt it in the microwave and tint it, if you're going to. Paint a thin layer of the gelatin onto a smooth piece of acetate. Once it dries, it will pop off the acetate on its own. You can cut this piece of gelatin with scissors in the shape you want. Stick it onto your wires with a little more gelatin. You can give it a little curvature, if you need to, when you put it on the motorcycle.
