Does anyone know if fondant will hold up when you use Frosting Pride as your base rather then buttercream? Advice would be helpful please. Just starting my adventures in cake decorating.

Not a good idea. Too much air, so it deflates under the weight of the fondant. Too much liquid, so it melts the fondant from the back and creates an ugly ooze. Best to use buttercream or ganache under fondant.
