hey ya'll, im doing a lemon cake with raspberry filling and i would like a good lemon buttercream(crusting if poss) receipe..pls send me something that worked for you....thanks alot

SMB recipe. Stir in 1/3 cup lemon curd once buttercream is whipped. Yummy.

I agree wholeheartedly with Limpy. I have tried adding extracts, oils and emulsions to various buttercreams, and they tend to taste bitter. Add lemon curd (homemade Meyer lemon if you have them) to most buttercreams. SMBC is the best IMHO.

Curd for me too in IMBC. That's not crusting though.
