I'm making a shark cake for 4th of July. Yes, I know not very patriotic, but it's a special request from my nephew who will be visiting from Florida.

I have it all planned out and am optimistic that it will look like a shark. My question is how will I make the shark look wet. I do not have a steamer to steam my fondant. Do you think I should use rolled buttercream as it has more of a shine? If I use regular fondant, how can I get it to shine?

Brush regular fondant all over with piping gel.
