hi all ive jus started my first cake for family member and ive buttercreamed it in preparation to mmf tmw but for some strange reason icon_lol.gif its real mucky ( humid ) in england and im thinking where do i store the cake ? is it ok in fridge ? please help thanks tru icon_confused.gif

Your cake is fine in the refrigerator as long as it's covered in buttercream.

thanks for reply, i didnt think any one was gona answer me lol icon_lol.gif if it is humid tmw when i mmf do i put in in the fridge or leave out sorry to ask silly question but as you see im very new to cake central icon_redface.gif

I don't cover cakes with fondant...just buttercream. But depending on your filling I think you can leave it out. If it's humid and your fondant covered cake comes out of the fridge there will be a LOT of condensation (stickiness) but it does eventually dry. However I don't think you have to put it in there after putting the fondant on it. Like I said...depends on the filling. If it's egg based...definitely in the fridge. Otherwise, it's fine.
