I was asked to make a 4tier wedding fondant cake for 200 guests I am a bit new to the cake business and have no idea what I should charge .A friend told me to charge her 250.00 but I know for a fact that it is worth more than that considering all the ingredients and hard work I will put into it..any ideas?...It is an all white cake with silver pearls all over it and A satin bowl on 2 of the tiers ..

Call your local bakeries to get a range for the "basic" fondant cake.

In normal circumstances you would charge at least $3.00 per serving anywhere in North America except the Arctic. You can see that will cover your labour at a reasonable rate in addition to your materials. More pearls = more work = more $$ per serving...and stay away from that "friend".
