Hi!
Im trying to figure out the best way to attached the tall cake candles to the decorated cake board. Similar to how Pink Cake Box does (see attached)?
I would like to add the candles before pickup so they would need to stay in place during delivery,.

Thanks!

It looks like she just has balls of fondant stuck to the cake board with the candles sticking in them. I guess if you have to deliver the cake with the candles already on it, I would stick the fondant balls to the cake board with candy melts, dip the end of the candles in candy melts, and then stick the candles in the fondant balls, holding them for a few seconds while they set up straight.

good idea! i was alrady thinking to use candy melts to keep the candles in the fondant balls, so it makes sense to use it secure the balls to the board. thanks!

You might be able to find something like this:
http://www.discountcandleshop.com/product_info.php?products_id=367
in a craft store in different sizes. The bottom of the cup would screw into the board and I should think it would be very sturdy.

There. Their. They're not the same.

I hope I die before "your" becomes the official contraction of "you are."

Could I use gum glue to hold the fondant balls in place on the cake board as well?
