I am looking for a couple of really good sugar free cake recipes. I have tried some in the past and have always been really disappointed in the taste and texture. I need a chocolate and a vanilla that are durable enough for carving and stacking. Any suggestions?
We did several months of R&D in an attempt to create sugar free cake and frosting, but we were unable to come up with a recipe we would be comfortable selling to customers. Out of all the sugar alternatives we worked with, Splenda and Stevia were the best, but the taste and texture were still mediocre at best.
