I made this recipe for buttercream on a wedding cake: http://cakecentral.com/recipe/light-fluffy-buttercream and the bride just informed me they will have their reception outside tomorrow. I have never used this recipe, so I am very unfamiliar with it. Will it hold up? It is supposed to be about 80 F with 13% humidity.

i don't believe so...i use the crusting buttercream recipe on here...others say they use Indydebi's recipe and it holds up well. either one of those will do in the heat icon_biggrin.gif

Thank you for the suggestion. I usually use IndyDebi's recipe, but for this design I needed something with a different texture. Hers does very, very well in all types of weather!
