Could someone please show me how to make fondant Dora figurine to go on my little grand-daaughter's birthday cake? I would appreciate it very much.

9" in good size. If it is going to sit on top of your cake, then I suggest you make it from RKT.

Are you asking for a tutorial or just some basic instruction?

Hi Auntginn

Many thanks for your interest in my topic: I am so very new to this business; so I think I would bother you often asking you questions - it looks like you know so much more about the subject.

In fact, I wanted to make a sheet cake and then carve it into Dora - that was what I originally thought - and I had no idea if I said 9" - that would be good for a cake topper lololol.. So, my dear friend, if you can give me any kind of turotial on this subject I would appreciate it very much.

How you doing? I am alright - just lazying around. Soon be gone home from Dubai.

Ginn, one of my long time (childhood) dreams is to open up my own cake decorating shop in Sri Lanka. Now is the time to do so, and I am seriously thinking about it - I have a very good location and I would get a small shop built asap.

Just wondering, what would be the best name for it? My first name is Kaly -
There is this one name that came into my mind and that is - Kaly Kreates or Kaly's Kakes...

I would appreciate it if you can help me with this, Ginn.

Hello Kaly, to answer your question about the name of a business ask yourself this one. #1 -When potential customers see or hear the name what image do they get in their head? #2 Does the name immediately tell them about the business? #3 Is it easy to remember?
