Hi I have just finished crumb coating my cake which I am going to ice tomorrow. Where should I leave my crumb coat to dry. It's a basic buttercream.
Thank you x x

On the cake would be a good place. Just kidding - you can set it anywhere as long as it's out of the way and not too warm. You don't have to wait until tomorrow to cover it unless that's what you prefer - - it should be good to go as soon as it crusts.
It is best NOT to let a crumb coat dry before covering with fondant. It needs to be 'sticky/wet' for the fondant to stick to it. If you really need to wait to cover it, then you will need to lightly spray the crumb coat w/water to get it wet/sticky again.

Uhhh... Maybe the fact it says dumb coat, rather than crumb coat?
