Just And Fyi About Duff Graffiti Spray And Pme Spray

I posted a question the other day asking if anyone had tried the Duff Graffiti spray. I bought the blue this weekend for a cake I made for a friend today. I also used PME red spray. The Duff spray didn't work very well. I shock the heck out of that can and all the pretty much came out was air not much color. I used the PME red on some decorations and it was wonderful full of color and smooth finish. If you plan on using edible colors in spray cans I would suggest spending the extra money and purchase PME it's well worth the cost.
Hey Sweet-
Thanks for posting this information!! This just reconfirms ALL my feelings about Duff's products-- they do not work for me!!!
1) The fondant- omg- I was trying to cover a cake in the red fondant (I had to buy at a hobby store last minute) and I was in tears-
2) I did purchase the silver and gold spray- thinking it would save me time- to me it looked as if it didn't work- but... I had never compared it to the PME
3) I am trying to use better quality products so I thought I would try his gumpaste- as opposed to Wilton (which is good for some things)- ugh!!! NO comparison the Satin Ice gumpaste-
Yeah- I have now officially broken up with Duff-
Mo
I love Duff's black and the brown fondant and keep a couple tubs on hand - I also love the liquid airbrush color (haven't tried the aerosol) because the colors seem deeper and cover more area with less spraying.
