I am using a Canon ip3600 printer for edible icing sheets. It has been a great printer but suddenly I am getting verticle scratches. I have tried setting the printer on the "prevent abrasion" setting and done the maintenance tab to "clean rollers" and that hasn't helped. Has anyone had this issue? Thanks to anyone that can help!

Are they scratches or actually little dotted lines? What happens with the dotted lines is the feeder things (they look like gears with tiny teeth) gather some wet sheet as they work and after a while they have enough to make the imprint you are seeing. Icingimages has some cleaning instructions for this on their site, but but basically you just need to get a damp toothbrush and clean them off. They are hard to see though, I like to use a flashlight. I then run the "roller cleaning cycle" (or whatever it's called) to run out the last bit of wetness. HTH

Thank you so much for responding. They look like a scratch, but you may be right...I will try your suggestions and hope for the best. Thanks again.
