Fillable columns

I have NEVER used columns before...and I'm somewhat nervous. I'm making a Sweet 16 cake and the birthday girl designed tha cake herself...she wants clear columns between the cakes. It will be 3 tiers. I bought the Wilton fillable columns, and separator plates, but am nervous about the assemly...any advice? Are they easy to attach to the plates? Thanks in advance icon_smile.gif
