I am looking for a mud cake recipe - the "American" version. I have checked the recipe section and most have the british measurements. Can anyone recommend an awesome one? Thanks.

Do you mean An American Mud Cake - or American Meausrements ... becaue if its the actual recipe - i haven't seen An American Mud Cake - all us Australian and English Cakers have posted most of the mud cake recipes
Yes,... i know i know - many say our mud cakes are similar to a mississippi cake ... i am just asking

What is a mud cake and what does it taste like? Soft and gooey on the inside? I see a lot of people here use mud cakes.
