so i saw on cupcake wars this contestant had made a S'mores cupcake with a graham cracker crust on the bottom of the cupcake. i tried doing it with just crumbled crackers but it seams like the crust becomes like crumbs and it becomes moist . if i was to mix some butter into the crumbs and then somehow press into the cupcake liners would that work?

Look at any cheesecake recipe. They have the proportions for butter and cracker crumbs, as well as sometimes adding sugar. The butter waterproofs as well as holds the crumbs together.

For just the bottom of the liner, you mix up your crust. Use a measuring scoop to add the loose crumbs to the liners, and then press with the bottom of a glass.

I make a S'Mores cupcake with graham cracker crust using my cheesecake crust recipe. After pressing down the crumbs I bake for a few minutes then add batter and finish baking. The texture of a bottom crisp crust is a nice surprise.
