I've tried using different legs, I've tried hitting with a hammer, I don't know what else to do!! Anybody have any ideas PLEASE!! This is all 4 legs on a 6" plate. I'm wondering if I got a defective one perhaps? I've never had this problem!!

You just twist them a bit. They don't actually lock. They are just secure/don't drop off the plate when you pick up the plate.

Ah, thanks, Leah! I usually push hard enough to where I hear a snap-guess I've been overdoing it!

uhhh . . . that snap could mean you're cracking them.

I tore my cake apart and checked- they are not cracked. I must just be putting them in at an angle and they snap; guess I won't try so hard from now on. Thanks again for your help!
