I am making cupcakes with fondant director's signs on them...I want to write stuff on the signs and wondering what type of frosting would work the best on black fondant? What will last longest...not fall off, look the best, and be easiest???

I would use royal icing to write on the fondant.

Thin the royal icing down a hair so that it flows out of your fine round tip. That will make it easier to write, and it will stick better. Use a half teaspoon of piping gel if you have it, per cup of icing. Use water if no piping gel.
