It is the first time I tried Fondx fondant, and I have to say I didn't quite used to it.
I am in Australia, it has been raining whole yesterday and a little bit today. I just covered my cake, and it was so soft to work with. Finally it was done, and after dinner, I found the cake sweat so much. Like a layer of water on the top of the cake.
I put it in front of fan, and finger cross, it can dry soon.
I am wondering whether I did something wrong, because I covered cake by BC and put it in frozen section for 20min. Is that the reason the fondant sweat? I always do that....

"Sweat" is condensation. Condensation occurs when a cold object is exposed to warm, humid air. The cold causes the water in the air to condense on, and form water droplets on, the object, just as ice filled beverage glasses sweat on a warm day.
So, 20 mins. would pretty well freeze the cake. If then covered in fondant and allowed to sit in a warm, humid area, condensation formed.
You can cover a cool cake and get less sweating, but covering such a cold cake will make it sweat more and longer.

I wasn't thinking of the frozen process before, as I always do. Maybe the weather was ok for me to do that. I will be more careful if i want to do that in a humid weather.
