Looking for ideas for making cherry blossom branches for a firends wedding cake in July. I'd like to wire the gumpaste flowers to gumpaste branches so they look more realistic. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I use heavier gauge wires, and wrap them in brown florist tape. If I want them a little thicker in places I just tape a few together.

Not sure when you need to do the branches by, but I found this mold on Etsy. http://www.etsy.com/listing/94658828/food-safe-silicone-mold-to-make-gumpaste

Maybe this would work?
