I made NFSC with antonia's icing on them yesterday, Wednesday. I made red and blue icing and for some reason the icing never fully cured, even 24 hours later they were tacky. I had to bag them up (in a huge shrink wrap bag over the whole basket) They are being auctioned off on Sunday, I just need to know if they will still be safe to eat? With the icing being tacky for the next four days, I just want to make sure they would still be edible?

How thick was the icing? Were you flooding? I find that my flooded cookies can take 24-48 hours to dry completely. I'm sure they'll be fine to eat.

Thank you for the reply. The icing was not that thick .. I think it was more the amount of coloring I had to put in the icing to get it the right red and blue. Thank you for telling me they will be ok to eat!
