Hi everyone,

I will soon be making my daughters first birthday cake, I would love to make this one

I have no idea how to make/support the head, as it is bigger than the body. Please help! Thanks in advance!

My suggestion would be to get some food-grade PVC (i.e., not the kind that's used for drainage systems!) and attach a base at the bottom and a plate-like something-or-other about halfway up (please forgive all the technical language!). Then make the head from a round cake mold (like the Wilton ball pan) and lower it onto the top part of the pipe till it rests on the plate. I'd ask my friendly, neighborhood Home Depot employee how to achieve the PVC/base/plate part, and then I'd go to town. Maybe RKTs for the body and even fondant-covered styrofoam for the ears, so they wouldn't weigh too much. Whatever you decide to do, please post a pic when you're done. I'd love to see how it turns out.
