I am making a four tier cake and have completed the two fruit layers but how often should I feed it and how should I store it. I have read a lot of books and they say foil! I am not sure about this. PLEASE HELP icon_confused.gif

all my fruit cakes are fed once a week, just a teaspoon or two of which ever alcohol you are using, it doesnt need alot at all, some weeks i will check and feel the cake is getting wet, so i wont feed it that week. i usually feed and store my cakes for at least 3 month before i use them. As for storage, i wrap them in greaseproof paper, before i wrap them with foil, have done this method for about five year now and never had an issue icon_smile.gif
