Has anyone tried this yet? I'm all for saving time if it works well. I heard the older model was bad so they redesigned it.

Oooh....my interest is peaked. I will try it as soon as it appears at Michael's or Hobby Lobby so I can use a coupon. I won't pay that regular price. Thanks for sharing! Image

According to the video it's supposed to be snazzy. However, they don't actually show them lifting the ribbon from the board once it's been cut, which kind of makes me wonder if it's as good as the hype. I like the fact that it has a case.

Agreed - - doesn't look like it cuts any better. For the price, I'll stick with the wing nut.

I have the old one and it does suck. The 'blades' are really dull and make for an unclean cut. I usually cut my pieces with it (more so to give me an even strip) and then clean them up with a sharper tool. This doesnt look any better in print but maybe it works better
