Can anyone tell me how to make a 3D margarita cake? I would like to make one for a friend's birthday but i'm wondering how to make one without it falling over. Can't picture how to engineer a cake like that icon_biggrin.gif
Need Help pls!! Party is next weekend...

Thanks!!

I can get specifics tonight. But I know that for me it would be a Home Depot mission. PVC pipe or acrylic tubing, 2 flanges, screws and wooden cake rounds.
PLEASE remember that the base must be wider then the cake by a decent amount.
This picture is not my cake, but I hope it helps you get an idea.

thank you lynne3! i've never done one so i'm a little nervous about doing a cake that seems top heavy and delivering it. Funny you posted that pic b/c that was exactly the one i wanted to make icon_biggrin.gif I wonder what size cakes she used? If you have specifics on how to make it, that would be great!
