Fruit Filling In Sleeve Question

Can they be baked? I have a recipe for some bars that says "spread with raspberry jam and bake." I don't buy jam but I have some raspberry in the sleeve; plus I think it taste better.

Commercial fruit fillings (whether in a bucket, can, or sleeve) are formulated to withstand high baking temps. I prefer those over using jam.
