Its finally happening for me im ready to change my hobby to a business I did research im getting my permits and license I will be specalize in cakes/cupcakes/and cookies but im stuck on names I was thinking my username CakeNBake (the box name shake n bake for chicken) somone in my family came up with Sugar Lips bakery to me that sounds stripish. im so stuck can anyone give me advice

"Cakes N Bakes" is already a registered trademark for a retail bakery so I would advise against anything too similar.

The one I'm thinking of for my cake business came from a drawing my granddaughter likes to do. I just looked it up in the link jason_kraft put in his post (thanks very much!) and it would seem that it isn't registered in the US. Good start. Let's just hope it's not registered in Mexico, where I'll be working, either!

When in doubt, Google the name and see if anything comes up. I tell my husband to do this when his band decides to change their name for the hundredth time.
