I am making my brothers grooms cake for his wedding and I don't know what sizes of pans I should use. I am making it with two teirs- and it needs to serve between 50 - 70 people. Please give me any advice you have on what sizes of cakes to use. Thanks!

9" 7" gives you 49 servings,
10' 7" gives you 59 servings
12" 10" gives you 99 servings.
I would encourage you to look at the Wilton chart above and make sure it's the correct amount.
These are 'wedding cake slices', not 'sit down and eat a hunk of cake', slices.
I hope this helps,

I'd make a 10" x 6" for 50 servings... if they need more, you could add a third tier by using an 8" in between for 74 servings, or have a 9"x13" quarter sheet cake on the side for 75 total servings instead.
