Chess Piece Mold

Hi everyone....

I need to make a chessboard cake. I don't want the pieces to look unprofessional, and I'm looking for a good quality chocolate mold for the pieces. Does anyone have a suggestion on a good quality mold and where I can find it? Thanks!

You can make your own. Go to any large craft store - in their skulpy aisle - look for a yellow and blue box called Make A Mold - it's two containers you mix together. Take the appropriate amount - combine it (feels like silly putty in your hand), put it on the counter and push a game piece into the putty and wait for 20 minutes before removing it. Then you'll be able to fill it with fondant, candy clay, gumpaste or chocolate and us it right away. Cool stuff. I stock up on it when I get a coupon from my local craft store for 40% off.

When I make molds, I use Amazing Mold Putty.
