I am a home baker and my accountant wants me to track my income and expenses. I am not a business minded person. I am looking for a template or someone who is willing to share their basic excel spreadsheet. I feel like such an idiot and would appreciate anyone's help. Thanks! icon_smile.gif

I can send you mine, but you might have different expenses. I'll email it to you.

If a professional is handling your accounting you can keep it very simple. On the expenses side list the date, amount, vendor name, vendor location, and what type of expense it is (ingredients, supplies, insurance, utilities, etc.). For income include the date ordered, date delivered, customer name, delivery address, customer phone/email, order amount (separated between the cost of the product and any extra fees such as delivery), and a brief description of the order.
