Hello,
Does anyone know if you can use a texture mat with Pastry Pride? I'm making a small wedding cake and cupcakes and was wondering if the mat would work on the sides of the cake.
any help is gratefully appreciated.

I've used pastry pride but never thought it ever got hard enought to use a mat on it. So I don't know how well it work out. I've frozen mine to harden it on the cake and it doesn't stay stiff enough

No you can't. It's the same as using a non crusting frosting it will stick.

Also Pastry Pride is more of a whipped topping not a frosting. If you want a frosting then you need to use Frostin Pride by the same company. Frostin Pride still won't crust.
