will box help condensation?

Hello

here in ohio having odd weather. I have a shower cake with side cakes due for a brunch on saturday morning. I am worried about rain for delivery so I plan to use boxes for the cakes. they are buttercream with fondant accents. I plan on putting them in
the fridge overnight but worried about condensation in the morning.

should I box them before putting in fridge? or just after the cakes come out of the fridge? I need to get them cold because my air in my car is not working as good as it
should be. . It is about 45 min to the v enu.

any help would be appreciated.

Always box and wrap before chilling. I would leave them in the boxes until you get to the venue, if possible. This will ensure that any condensation would be on the wrapping and keep the cakes cooler on the trip. You can unbox (debox?) take them out when you deliver and they'll be fine when the ladies are ready for cake. thumbs_up.gif
