When you put fondant on a dummy cake is it possible for me to save the fondant.
Is it ok to use water instead of Tylose?
I need help to start practicing on my dummy cakes

Thanks

I've re-used fondant off dummies before. Yes water instead of tylose would be better in that you'd not be mixing 'glue' into your fondant, giving yo more times that you can use it over.

I've taken Julie Bayshore's courses and she uses shortening on the styrofoam,....then covers it in fondant. As far as using the fondant over again, I suppose if it didn't harden, it would be fine....but I wouldn't eat it!!
