I made my own in big batches cause I hate making it , but hate using commercial.
I divide mine up into amounts I know I will use , smear some shortening on the outside ( just a little ) wrap it in glad wrap, put it in a freezer bag and then into a ziplock and freeze it.
I can then just take out a small portion as I need it. If I need more than I though it doesn't take long to defrost and be ready to use.
