Is one better than the other? The reviews say that the Ateco one can tear. Do they stretch when rolling out fondant and is the surface smooth like "the Mat".

I own THE MAT and love it. When trying to transfer the fondant - or even after placing the fondant and mat on the cake, I have to be super quick in peeling the mat off the fondant before it starts bending and consequently putting creases on the fondant. I'm assuming that the silicon mat will be a little more forgiving when falling over the fondant - as in, the folds wont be as sharp and will not cause any creases. Any thoughts?

Getting back to the main topic, which mat is better? and why? TIA.
