Good Morning Everyone, I was hoping that someone could help me with a order I have coming up. I have a cupcake order and I have to make the cupcakes look like taco's shell and the mom doesn't want me to use Fondant.. I am lost, any help I would be so very much appreciated..

umm.. the only thing i could think of is using cupcake wrappers ? It doesn't seem like a very feasible idea, considering that she doesnt want to use fondant either.

possibly use candy melts to make the taco shells out of and use buttercream to mimid the meat, lettuce and cheese inside? I would probably use a small rolling pin, like the wilton one you use for fondant and cover it with parchment paper then pipe the candy melt onto it. That way it's curved like a taco shell. Just an idea though. Hope it helps. icon_smile.gif

what about using a fortune cookie recipe but folding them like taco shells?
